With the upcoming Season 6 of Doctor Who, fans all over the world are anxious as to the many mysteries behind our fellow hero, The Doctor, and if they will be resolved within the season. So this here, is something special I'm creating in honour of all the amazing memories DOCTOR WHO has given us, within the span of 40 years. With this little experiment I'm hoping to interact with other whovians. As a Doctor Who fan I wanted to read and be enlighten by others' opinions of The Doctor's fascinating journeys throughtout time and space (and the occasional parallel universe). The officials over at BBC NETWORK (who like to keep this well hidden) can only provide so much, before you want more of The Doctor. That is the reason I'm creating this blog, and perhaps you might see feel the same way I feel. Doctor Who has been my favorite Television Programme since 2006 and for others, even longer. Growing up in the United States, no one ever heard mention nor a whisper of Doctor Who. I, as perhaps many others, stumbled by accident to an airing of Doctor Who while changing channels in the telly, for me I stumbled against the very first episode of the revived series, "Rose", right in the moment when the mannequins create chaos near the shops. It was extremely different from any show I ever seen and that is how eleven year old me grew from a spectator, to a fan, to a whovian. So making this Doctor Who Blog gives me much excitement as what it can possibly achieve. I've searched far and wide in cyberspace for that "just right" blog that is passionate in providing the facts, opinions, and the occasional tomfoolery that I love. I hope that with this blog, many whovians and fans will be further enriched in Doctor Who and its entirety and will keep coming for more. So cheers to those from the United Kingdom and around the world and to our own.
Sincerely, Martin (ZombéRobot).
