SILENCE WILL FALL

Rosanna Calvierri [Doctor Who: Vampires in Venice] (Referencing the Cracks in the Universe)

Some were tiny, some were as big as the sky. Through some we saw worlds and people, and through others we saw silence, and the end of all things.

Well, most of you may know of the recently released official trailer for Season 6 from BBC Network, which, as always, leaves the fans with even more curiosity and questions. However, this trailer was different. It might have been one minute long but for those who analyze it continuously, were chilled and thrilled with a side dose of goosebumps. It was an excellent visual piece with varying angles and lighting. Even if there are some who felt they needed more of The Good Doctor have no worry, there are more videos provided by BBC and BBC America. For your convenience I will be analyzing and depicting every second of all the videos released chronologically, even the ones that didn't add any information. Warning: You may have an epiphany, suffer from confusion, or fall to oblivion.

Here is what we see: [Credits:BBC/Dalekdom]
  • Three Musketeers
  • Nazi Soldiers
  • The Doctor inside the Oval Office
  • The Doctor in Utah (Canyons)
  • The Doctor wears Stetsons (New addition after the Fez)
  • The Doctor is contained in Area 51 (Seen with a beard for the first time in the television programme)
  • The Interior of the Facsimile TARDIS from the Episode "The Lodger" (The story is based from the Doctor Who Monthly Comic Book Strip of the same title who instead featured the Tenth Doctor)[Note how the Facsimile TARDIS has four panels in the Main Control Area]
  • A Spaceship has crashed
  • An Astronaut is seen reaching his hand
  • The Ood are returning
  • Evil Dolls

1. [Doctor]: I've been running... faster that I've ever run. Now is time for me to stop.
2. [Doctor]: I'm going to need a SWAT Team ready to mobilize, a street map covering all of Florida, a cup of Coffee, twelve Jammie-Dodgers, and a Fez
3. [Doctor]: Somewhere different. Somewhere brand new.
4. [Doctor]: I wear stetsons now. Stetsons are cool.
5. [Amy]: You have to do this and you can't ask why.
6. [Doctor]: My life in your hands, Amelia Pond...
7. [Doctor]: Do you see this eyes? They're old eyes and one thing I can tell you... monsters are real.

  • Giant TARDIS crashes on the United States. Just Joking.

  • The Doctor is officially in the United States with his fancy cowboy hat and Amy never looked better, wearing a Red Lumberjack Shirt.

  • The rumored creature called, The Silence, is seen next to the President. An alliance or is the President just that ignorant? We can only imagine.

  • There may be the rumored Copy of The Doctor which will be the second time a creature has made a copy of The Handsome Doctor.
  • A spacestation in a deserted planet.
  • Pirates and Sirens. Great combination.
  • A great confrontation between The Doctor and the perhaps, The Silence(or the rumored, Omega).
  • The Ninth/Tenth Doctor TARDIS Desktop Theme
  • A Clown (A very diabolical one. I believe I speak for many)
  • A new creature with similar appearances to a Judoon.
  • Amy commits a grave error.

  • No new information is given. Perhaps the highlight of the video is, The Silence, which we are reassured they are a group of beings and not just one.

With A Big Bang... It Begins

Hello, fellow whovians (in the United States and across the pond).

With the upcoming Season 6 of Doctor Who, fans all over the world are anxious as to the many mysteries behind our fellow hero, The Doctor, and if they will be resolved within the season. So this here, is something special I'm creating in honour of all the amazing memories DOCTOR WHO has given us, within the span of 40 years. With this little experiment I'm hoping to interact with other whovians. As a Doctor Who fan I wanted to read and be enlighten by others' opinions of The Doctor's fascinating journeys throughtout time and space (and the occasional parallel universe). The officials over at BBC NETWORK (who like to keep this well hidden) can only provide so much, before you want more of The Doctor. That is the reason I'm creating this blog, and perhaps you might see feel the same way I feel. Doctor Who has been my favorite Television Programme since 2006 and for others, even longer. Growing up in the United States, no one ever heard mention nor a whisper of Doctor Who. I, as perhaps many others, stumbled by accident to an airing of Doctor Who while changing channels in the telly, for me I stumbled against the very first episode of the revived series, "Rose", right in the moment when the mannequins create chaos near the shops. It was extremely different from any show I ever seen and that is how eleven year old me grew from a spectator, to a fan, to a whovian. So making this Doctor Who Blog gives me much excitement as what it can possibly achieve. I've searched far and wide in cyberspace for that "just right" blog that is passionate in providing the facts, opinions, and the occasional tomfoolery that I love. I hope that with this blog, many whovians and fans will be further enriched in Doctor Who and its entirety and will keep coming for more. So cheers to those from the United Kingdom and around the world and to our own.

Sincerely, Martin (ZombéRobot).
